How to Become a Christian
The decision to become a Christian is not
something to take lightly. Becoming a
Christian is as serious as getting married.
When you become a Christian, you are
entrusted to live as Jesus Christ com-
manded. He gave two chief commandments:
"Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one
Lord. And you shall love the Lord your
God with all your heart, and with all your
soul, and with all your mind, and with all
your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second commandment is like it, namely
this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (see Mark 12:29-31). He also said, "If any man will
come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me" (Luke 9:23).
Count the cost: you are giving your life to Christ. You are affirming that when Jesus died, His death paid
the price for your sins. You are affirming that Christ has authority over you. You are becoming an
ambassador for His kingdom.

The Holy Spirit will dwell within you and empower you to live the way Christ wants you to live.

Here is how to become a Christian:

BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God.
REPENT of rebelling against God.
CONFESS your belief, surrendering your life to Him, stating that He is your Lord.
BE BAPTIZED for the forgiveness of sins, formally entering the family of God.
