The New Testament proclaims that Christ shall return and preside over the judgment of all individuals. No one on
earth knows the day or hour of Christ's return. We ought to live in the hope that He is coming soon.

Various signs of the return of Christ are described in Scripture. There is considerable diversity and disagreement
among interpreters regarding the exact nature of these signs. Here, no attempt is made to engage in a detailed
analysis. (See the online article, "In the Last Days" for an introduction to some of the major issues.) We are
instructed by the Lord, "Be faithful unto death, and I shall give you the crown of life."
