Our Minister

Hello! I'm James Snapp, Jr. I minister at Curtisville Christian Church - but we are all
ministers; we are each part of the church - a collection of souls, not of bricks and beams.
If you're not already actively serving in a Bible-believing congregation, then on behalf of
the elders and deacons, I invite you to come visit us this Sunday at 10:15 a.m. for
Christian fellowship and a challenging Bible-based sermon. Currently our average
attendance is about 60. I've been preaching here since January 2005. My wife Maira

and I have three children: Perry, Kassie, and James III.

We are happy to be serving God's people and sharing God's message in the
Elwood/Tipton/Curtisville community.

Our elders are Ed Castor, John Hussey, Walt Jackson, and Keith Trimble.

Our deacons are Sam Baker, Lavon Colbert, Dave Dowler, Jerry Ingram, Ted Nichols, Dallas Walker, and Jiff
Weismiller.

Ted Nichols, one of our deacons, teaches the youth class.

Teresa Nichols plays the piano.

Vickey Rose McCorkle teaches the adult Sunday School class, and plays the organ.
She also directs the choir concerts and cantatas.
