What kind of church is
Curtisville Christian Church?
A gospel-sharing church!
We believe that God calls all people to turn away
from sin, to surrender to Him, and to rely on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Each member should share this message, in word and deed.
A non-denominational church!
The fellowship of Christian Churches and
Churches of Christ has no offices above our local elders and deacons. We're not the only Christians, but we are Christians only!
A Bible-based church!
We seek to study, understand, and apply the
Word of God to every aspect of our lives, guided by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is our definitive authority. Our worship services are modeled after examples in the New Testament, focusing on the apostolic teaching, fellowship, the Lord's Supper, and prayer.
A loving church!
We intend to transform Madison and Tipton
Counties by expressing God's love! We aim to carefully search, clearly proclaim, and lovingly apply the teachings of the New Testament. |

Greetings in Christ. God is looking for you! Are you looking for
Him? Many people are not looking for God. It's not easy if you lose someone or something that you love, and you don't understand why God allowed that loss. It's not easy if someone raises questions about God or the Bible that you can't answer. It's not easy if you've seen immorality and hypocrisy in the lives of people who called themselves Christians. Some people don't look for God because they have concluded that religion just doesn't make much of a difference. And some people just think of church as a place to send the kids to get moral training.
Nevertheless, God calls His people to urgently call everyone! Your
life will not be complete until you are reconciled to God. That doesn't mean you have to understand Him. It means you accept His authority and want to receive the love and forgiveness that He offers.
We want to help you find God, and to help you find your purpose
by building God's kingdom within you and around you. We don't promise easy answers to life's struggles. We hope, pray, and work to help one another live by faith, to grow deeper and stronger in God's Word, and to put God's message to work, so that in all we do, we fulfill God's purpose in our lives.
Life doesn't have to be day after day of spiritual drifting. Your life
can have the direction that Jesus Christ alone can give. If you are not an active member of a congregation that proclaims God's Word and seeks to do God's will, we invite you to come visit the worship service this Sunday morning at 10:15, at the church in the country at 737 N. 600 E., northwest of Elwood, and experience the joy of serving Him!
